2008's Best Comic Moments

Wizard Magazine, has released a list of what it deems the best comic moments of this year, but they left them unranked (at least its unranked as far as I can tell). So, I decided to make a Top 5 list, based on my opinions of what I considered the best:

1. The usually unsentimental Batman leaves an Oreo for his lost commrade (Final Crisis: Requiem)
2. Kitty Pryde sacrifices her life and saves the world (Giant-Size Astonishing X-Men #1)
3. Angel is alive (human that is), again (Angel: After the Fall #3)
4. Norman Osborne kills the Skrull Queen, ending the “Secret Invasion” (Secret Invasion #8)
5. Another would be love for Xander Harris bites the big one (Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Season Eight #14-#15)

These are just based on the books I read, and items on Wizard's list (I added the Secret Invasion item).

Welcome to my new blog...

I started off on tumblr.com, but I wasn't crazy about the format (see http://hostile17hasescaped.tumblr.com/ for previous entries). So, I may make a fresh start right here.
